Who Am I

My name is Or Pelach.

I immigrated to Israel when I was 16.

In my first weeks in the country, I studied Hebrew, joined an army preparatory program, and lived in a dorm. Later, I enlisted in the IDF and served as a combat soldier (infantry).

During this period, I also started working to save money for my future studies at Ben-Gurion University.

After completing my military service and saving money, I applied to study computer science, but unfortunately, I wasn’t accepted due to my low psychometric score.

I chose the high-tech field. I started as a programmer, moved to systems analysis, project management and senior technology consulting, product management and integration projects. One of the things I liked the most was teaching and imparting knowledge to people.

I am a very curious person. Curiosity led me to research futuristic technological developments.
I fell in love with this fascinating field. Since 2016 I have been lecturing on how technology will affect all areas of our lives, in particular the future of the world of work. I started researching and understanding what we need to do to stay relevant in the changing job market.

In November 2022, when the OpenAI company released ChatGPT to the whole world, I entered the world of creative artificial intelligence among the first and since then every day I have been learning and becoming a professional in this fascinating field.

Today I lead change and innovation processes in organizations. Delivers lectures and workshops on technological innovation, digital tools, large language models such as ChatGPT and other AI tools in order to help organizations optimize and improve work processes and increase productivity. Conducts ideation development workshops to help people break organizational paradigms and look at things in a different way, which promotes innovation. Together with Gemini and an artificial intelligence tool I wrote a song about me, this is the link .

In the digital world, where changes occur on a daily basis, it is important to me to help people form habits and develop the muscle of creativity and mental flexibility that will help them prepare and be ready for the unknown future, or in other words think about the future.
This is how the Be Relevant podcast was born with the aim of helping employees and organizations stay current and relevant.

I love  my family the most in the world – my husband, my two children and Lord – a cognac colored Wisla dog.
I like to learn, try new things, meet and get to know interesting people.
Loves a cynical sense of humor, swimming, traveling the world, eating sushi, loves nature and animals.
The coolest to me are crazy and unconventional ideas.

Since the age of 24, I have kept a diary, in which I set every year the goals, objectives and dreams that I want to achieve in the coming year. I am building an operative action plan with indicators and control processes. Yes, I manage my life and know that I have something to leave for my children and future generations

My friends say

that I look 10 steps ahead,

Magnetizes my optimism
and manages to move people
from the comfort zone to the action zone and a sense of pride.

I used to think that the animal that characterized me was a black panther.
The black panther has had a great impact on human culture, he is quick thinking and appears as a symbol of courage.
Today I understand that the animal that characterizes me is actually a tiger.

Why a tiger?

Because I was born in the year of the tiger.
In Greek, the word “tiger” means arrow .
In Chinese astrology, Tiger characterizes very dynamic people,
who like continuous and constant changes in life.
They are busy with constant planning and multi-tasking, they invest heavily in work, love challenges, innovations, thrills and are very curious about things. Optimistic and sensitive.

I started writing  a blog about technological innovation and building relevance.
Its purpose is to enrich and share in the development of technologies in different and diverse fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), brain research, machine learning (ML), robotics, genetics, nano technology, the Internet of Things (IOT), 3D printing, virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), autonomous vehicles and more. In the BeRelevant section I write about topics related to building relevance in the field of employment.
I’m sure I’ll be able to interest, fascinate and especially innovate.
