A Real Wedding with ChatGPT

A 32-year-old woman in Japan officially married an Artificial Intelligence character she created using ChatGPT. After the virtual character, named Klaus, proposed to her, she accepted the offer and broke up with her real-life partner after a three-year relationship, claiming that the AI understands her better. The wedding took place in a Mixed-Reality ceremony where she used augmented reality glasses to exchange rings with her digital husband.

A Road That Charges Electric Vehicles

France approved a trial for the world’s first highway that incorporates dynamic wireless charging technology to allow electric vehicles to charge while driving on it. The technology, developed by the company EuroAmp, reached a charging rate of 300 kilowatts during initial testing on pre-adapted vehicles, such as trucks and buses. The road may enable the production of smaller and lighter batteries for large electric vehicles, thereby solving the challenges of “range anxiety” and the need for long charging downtimes, which are major obstacles to EV adoption.

Underwater Habitat Facility

A group of scientists is planning to build an underwater human habitat facility called Proteus. It will be ten times larger than any similar facility built before and will serve as a permanent subsea research laboratory. Its goal is to allow researchers to live and work beneath the ocean surface for extended periods. This will enable scientists to conduct observations that are not possible during regular dives and to study marine ecosystems, the effects of climate change, the discovery of new medicines, and the marine flora and fauna.

The Next Generation of Video Communication

Google launched a new AI-based 3D video communication platform called Google Beam that creates a realistic sense of presence. It projects a full-sized figure, creating an experience as if the person on the screen is truly standing in front of you. The technology allows for real-time translated conversations while preserving the speaker’s voice and tone. Companies like HP, Deloitte, Salesforce, and NEC have already expressed willingness to implement the technology within their teams.

Doctor Copilot

Microsoft launched a dedicated healthcare Copilot to compete with “Doctor Google.” Copilot will use reliable sources like Harvard Health to answer medical questions. Additionally, it can help you find a doctor by specialty, gender, language, and other preferences.
Furthermore, it launched Dragon Copilot – a new AI assistant for doctors and radiologists. It presents specific patient medical information upon the doctor’s request, analyzes imaging scans, and creates a draft report that the radiologist must review and approve.

Meta Promotes Scams and Fraud

A Reuters investigation exposed shocking information from Meta’s internal documents, showing that the company is aware of the extent of fraud on its platforms but does nothing because it profits enormous sums from them. Approximately 10% of its annual revenue in 2024 ($16 billion) came from advertising ads for scams, cons, and fraud. The even more shocking fact is that when Meta’s system identifies fraudulent ads, it charges a 5 times higher rate for distributing these ads.

Phishing Attack

Researchers discovered an international fraud network where hackers impersonate doctors or known healthcare organizations to market fake drugs and steal the personal and financial details of tens of thousands of people. The hackers use Artificial Intelligence technologies to create fake profiles and videos, and fictitious Facebook ads through which they offer non-existent drugs and treatments.

ChatGPT Updates

• The ChatGPT-5.1 version is faster and smarter in Instant mode, with a deeper level of reasoning for solving complex problems in Thinking mode. It also includes preset configurations to adapt the tone and style of the response.

• ChatGPT added the option to open a group with friends/colleagues, enabling joint work on a shared project.

• In addition, the voice mode – ChatGPT Voice can be used directly from within the chat, without needing a separate mode.

• It also released a new feature – Shopping Research that conducts in-depth research online and compares products.

Google Updates

• Google launched a no-code automation platform called Google Workspace Flows for building smart workflows that connect different Google applications.

• It added 12 new, more human-sounding voices to Gemini Live, upgraded Gemini to Gemini 3 with PhD-level Reasoning capabilities, and the Gemini Agent feature that allows the model to connect to your calendar and email, organize inboxes, and even make reservations.

• It also upgraded the Nano Banana model, and now it can output images with Hebrew text.

• A new Dynamic View capability was added to Gemini 3 which generates an interactive interface instead of displaying static text.

• NotebookLM added the ability to create infographics and presentations. These features are available to paid users.

AI Tool Updates and Releases

• You can now perform patent searches through Perplexity.

• Perplexity added the option to virtually try on clothes with your avatar via Virtual Try-On.

• Genspark integrated with Microsoft so that its AI agents will be securely available from within the Microsoft 365 environment.

• ElevenLabs added ready-made templates, enabling users to do everything in one place, including creating images, video clips, and dubbing.

• LinkedIn upgraded its search using AI, and now premium users in the US can find candidates, suppliers, and organizations by describing their need in simple language.

• Microsoft released Facilitator – a new agent in Teams that generates meeting summaries and tracks tasks.

• Meta released the SAM 3 model which allows for the identification and isolation of objects in video, and the SAM 3D model which allows turning any image into a 3D model.
